Presentation: 

The magazine of Chemistry and Textile Industry with four issues per year, aims to inform on both national and international developments related to the textile sector. It is distributed free of charge to AEQCT members. Publication is open to anyone who considers that they can contribute relevant information to the sector. Authors are responsible for the ideas and opinions expressed. The papers received will be assigned to an editor who will define two reviewers of the paper.  Acceptance of the paper will rest with the editorial team. Accepted papers will be reviewed by the author and submitted within 15 days.

Instructions for authors proposals for the publication of articles, communications and notes should be written following the author's instructions and sent to the magazine’s management by e-mail to aeqct@aeqct.org.

Aim and scope:

The Magazine of Chemistry and Textile Industry is the main channel for the publication of technical news and textile research at national level. Its electronic edition allows its distribution to South American countries as well as Portugal. It is dedicated to the dissemination of fundamental, theoretical and applied scientific knowledge of materials, chemistry, and production sciences related to fibers and textiles.

In particular, the aim is to inform readers on a wide range of textile-related topics: dyes, auxiliary and finishing products, production of textile fibers and technical textiles, textile machinery, bleaching, dyeing, printing, finishing and finishing of textile materials as well as more general economic and business management topics that may be of interest to the member.

Since its founding in 1958, The Magazine of Textile Chemistry and since 2010 the Magazine of Textile Chemistry and Industry has served as the leading forum for the presentation of technical and scientific results that introduce new concepts, innovative technologies, and improved understanding of textile materials, processes, chemistry and systems.
